Usually behind a trap or hard enemy. The small red crates are random weapons. Then there's the loot behind fuse boxes. These I think are random. Also when playing co-op, everyone has their own loot drop. So you can't just steal all the loot like you can in Borderlands. You can drop gear to share with your teammates though.

They have really high dmg and good speed + head chopping action, without the shit durability that comes with most sharp weapons. The scythes and knives are great dmg and speed, but they wear out so fast. Machete is the perfect balance.

Not just the Crowd Pleaser & DotM, but also normal orange firearms. They do, i have found one legendary shotgun. Still no pistol or riffle, i do have a magnum but well i don't like them so i don't really use it. But yeah they should exist. As far as I've seen, most guns don't start appearing more until you run into more humans shooting at you

Best Weapon Perks in the game. Leech Perk – This perk helps you sustain those long-duration fights. The Leech perk grants you health when you damage the zombies, giving you much-needed survivability. It will also help save medical supplies for crucial moments in the game. Static Charge Perk – If you are using the Electrocuter mod, this perk I don't know of many guaranteed gun spawn locations in the original Dead Island, but I know a white 'common' rarity revolver spawns in bungalow 13 of the Hotel Bungalows section. I also remember getting a couple of green 'uncommon' rarity pistols and a purple 'very rare' pistol from the metal chest at the back of Garett Grant's Recording Studio
