To be honest I bought the Kinect with my Xbox one when it came out. And saw that it’s no longer supported with the series x. The only reason I use Kinect is for my media remote from Xbox, so I’m just hoping that by buying the official Xbox adapter and using with Kinect that I can use the Kinect for its IR so that I can use the remote for movies and tv shows on the couch 🤷🏼♂️
Rocket135 • 10 hr. ago. The original Xbox One has a port for it. The S and X had the port removed because Kinect stopped being supported. The adapted exists so the X and S can use a Kinect via USB. The Series X|S can not use the Kinect even with this adapter.
